Crutchfield customer service

Ok, well I had a US Acoustics car amp (usb-4085) for about 7 months. The other day I was driving down to school, bumpin some foreigner, all is good. Then the music stops, i get out of the car and open the trunk and find that smoke is coming out of the amp. well i have to be at class, so i took a chance on it burning, and catching fire. later in the day (around 2pm) I emailed crutchfield about it, they replied within 2 hours with a ra#. I was surprised to say the least. I send the amp the next day (last thursday), and they get it in 3 days. Today I come home and find a ups package from crutchfield. Not only did I get a new amp in within a week, it was no hassle, no shipping charges, no questions.

Seriously. Maybe the amp figured out that it was playing Foreigner and decided that hari kari was the only honorable way out.

The us acoustics amp is cheap as hell (costwise) but its good quality.. 85x4 rms for 179? damn good deal.

Yeah I have ordered from Crutchfield many times (mostly car stereo), and I don't mind paying retail since their service is so good.
