An absolute need? No. But it would be super nice.. but is it worth paying $66/month for, I need to decide.

wait a month or two, if you use your car more then one time per month then you should keep it.

Well, what would you still use your car for? Even if I had a car where I live, I'd still walk to the grocery store and pretty much any place in my neighborhood. Driving around in a city blows compared to public transportation.

Well the benefits in theory are as follows:

-We have a dog. We can take weekend trips with the dog in my car vs public transportation + expensive dog sitter

-We can drive up to Pal Park where there's great Korean food and groceries (vs none around here or expensive in Manhattan + carry it around)

-Hit up any local relaxation areas 1-2 hours away from Manhattan with ease.

As someone made an excellent point, I'll bring the car down here for few months and see how it feels.
