i've stomped three sets of asound headphone/mic combos and i keep snagging a new set from work everytime...of course they're being stomped because the left speaker thingy keeps comming lose... i ocasionally punch my monitor when i'm playing counter strike, but i punch like a little girl so it's not a problem. my dad punched his computer back in the wolfenstein days but he was wearing his army ring and there's now a big ass chunk taken out of the tube...that's it..oh, i usually slam my mouse down real hard but i haven't broken it...yet

Usually break keyboard in half, it's the cheapest thing to break :) Have smashed Cd-Rom Drive, numerous mice, numerous floppy drives, and one VCR....that's it for the electrical appliances anyway......

Nothing physical...but I did subject it to byte abuse. It pissed me off one too many times!

I loaded it it with AOL..the computer equivalent of washing its mouth out with soap :)

I had a 6 gb Western Digital hard drive on an old computer (350 k6-2, 64 megs of ram) and it kept making these "clicking" and "clacking" noises for NO REASON at all even while windows was standing still and doing nothing. The clicking was getting soooo bad because it was going on for MINUTES so I got real pissed and kicked the damn computer to hell, many many many times...

One time I smashed a Microsoft 2 button mouse back in '97. I was playing Quakeworld on the net one morning and I had too much coffee. My little brother was watching so the pressure was on to kick ass. I was getting whooped and I smashed the mouse on the desk. Then I had to run out and buy a logitech 3 button mouse so I could keep playing the rest of the day. Then I told my little brother to never do what I just did and that self control is the way to go lol.

One morning I came to the office and 5 mins later I made the monitor fly out of my desk and against the wall. I just saw people raising above the cubicle dividers to see what happened. Oops. I took the rest of the day off. The monitor worked fine the next day. The office still has the dented wall. I use much heavier monitors now, just in case...

Have you ever realized that most people smack the monitor out of complete frustration? I always thought this to be so terribly wrong mainly due to the fact that it is not the monitor at fault. Most of the time it is computer user errors, or, thanks to the cliched Windows blue screens, software or even the CPU is to blame. Poor monitors take a lot of crap for transmitting an image, correct or not.

Once my compaq was giving me some major problems, so I promptly kicked the living **** out of it. Next thing u know, it powers up and down by itself! So what else to do but kick it some more. Hehe, I showed it who was boss. It worked fine after.

I also used to throw my keyboard and mouse all the time if I played quake 2 bad. My mouse went to pieces once, and I just found them all and put it back togheter!!! HAHAHAHAHA.

I used to hit my old monitor sometimes, but only when it was acting up. Since I got my Optiquest, I have not had any reason to hurt it. The thing that gets the most abuse is my mouse/trackball. Logitech makes them pretty well. I have yet to damage one of them. I stopped bending keyboards when I bent my favorite one into a V shape. :Q

I punch my monitor. I'm afraid it hurts me a lot more than it hurts my monitor, though. That friggin' 2" glass is tough!

I had an older 10 foot long banquet table with foldable legs (hehe you knwo where this is going dont you??)

on that 10 foot table i had 3 systems on them, a 14" a 15" and a 17" at the far end...

I used the 17" to play games on. I believe it was in CnC or Red Alert or sum such strategy game, playing against an opponent with which i had played before and it got VERY heated.... i twas a VERY tense game, to the point that if my mom or girlfriend or wife or wahtever had asked me to do somthing i would of promptly replied NO! or SHUTUP! or somthing..it was that bad... anyways.. the stupid war factories wernt makign enough tanks, and i was losing... well i lost (he used a dirty tactic) and all i got off to the guy i was playing against was B I T c.... <user disconnected> just as i drop kicked the far left foldable leg that was holding up this table...

well the monitors tumbled down like bowling pins one after another, the 14" went the farthest, it acutally rolled all te way across the room and hit the far wall leaving a dent in the gyprock, the 15 and 17" monitors just banged into ecah other and rested not too far from the table
hehehe

the monitors were okay, they rolled over carpeting :p

I promptly challenged the guy to a rematch, and kicked his ass
(17" monitor was placed upon a tv dinner try!!) the table had to have a new left foldable leg put in though :D

that was back in the CnC days so i ahve changed quite a bit
hehe

My computer told me today that I didn't have an operating system then rebooted and it was fine almost threw it out.I have broken over 100 controllers in my day thrown about 20 cd's out a window. And just the other day I blew a bust(I catch shoplifters) and punched a metal pole and I think I broke my knuckle. All well not the first time.

My friend broke his old computer and he had to get new parts. I installed them all and fixed it for him. I took the motherboard, processor, and simms as my fee. It then promptly took a hammer to them and smashed the motherboard until i couldn't even tell what it used to be. I threw the simms like ninja stars at some kid as I was driving by him. The processor I slowly melted until it was a liquid.

I frequently kick my computer when I do bad at quakeor Starcraft or when I am stuck in a game. Luckily I have a solid case.

Out of frustration I mutilated my case. I had just got a new system (upgraded to a 16MB Cyrix 110 sys from a 4MB 486) and the case didn't have the ps2 port stamped out, but the mobo had the port. So, instead of waiting one more day to get a serial mouse, I grabbed a pair of pliars and began ripping the metal apart. It looked like a little plume of twisted metal afterwards, and it was more than big enough for the port. So I was all set. :)
