What are your guys' opinions on these two memory brands. Stability, reliability, overclockability, etc. Thanks.

Edit: Typo in the title

Crucial wins in reliability and price(by far). Mushkin is better for overclocking.

IBM chips, CAS3... not good. And looking at the description, it doesnt sound like an overclocking RAM.

Spend the extra $20 and get CAS2 Crucial RAM. 256MB is only $50, just get two of them.

I use Crucial because of price, quality & reliability. For your information on overclockability I am using two 128MB7E sticks @ 156 Mhz., boots but hangs games @ 157 and I loose one stick (not IDed by SiSoft) @ 158 CAS2, all memory settings maxed.

I have had both Crucial and Mushkin, and have not had a problem with either one.

I always look for price/performance, and right now, with Crucial's webpromo link (15% off), it's what I go with. But cost aside, it's like choosing between a Ferrari and Lamborghini. Can't go wrong with either.

I have both in my systems (128MB Mushkin rev2 and 256MB Crucial cl2)... from what I noticed, like everyone already stated, the mushkin outclocks the crucial... but hell for the price of rev2 v. CL2 its hard to justify if your on a tight budget, i was at the time of my 256mb purchase... Anyway, both ram vendors are great and their products are probably the best in the industry, its just they cater to different crowds and needs. Mushkin = Overclocking, Curcial = Decent overclocking (good in some cases) and great prices...

anyway, thats just how I see it...
