Both will work well, but the Mushkin will probably give you higher overclock ability, but on a AMD board it won`t since you cannot overclock the FSB that much.Go with Crucial it`s cheaper.

ehh another $160 spent in my quest for stability with abit kt7-raid.
I am in a pretty pathetic situation ride now. I have an amd approved power supply(fortron source 300W) and corsair 128mb stick of ram. My system lets me do the install of win98 and after I get into windows the first time it is fine. But... after I reboot the damn thing just goes to the blue screen or black screens(it waries from each install). That is just weird. I swapped out for a micron 64mb stick and then for 2 two more generic modules in that system. Guess which modules give more stability? The generic ones!!!!! GOD DAMN IT!!They still give a lot of trouble like locking up the system totaly and screwing up with installs. Just about to swap out for an MSI board. Screw "higher performance"-stability is all that matters.

From what you've said here, I don't think your problems are all ram related! 1) install at failsafe settings in bios and creep them up after O/S install 2) try install with video card only 3) if the prior don't work what is the temp of your system/cpu? If non of this works with new ram........email me, I'll buy the KT7 from you! I love them, have two running right now, one with a 1G T-bird and one with an 850 T-Bird!

Hi,

I am still having problems with that Abit KT7-RAID.
Here is what I tried over the weekend:

1.Switch ram for a PC100 128MB Generic + plus 2 fresh reinstalls ouside the case(I got the most stability with this module, but still I was getting bluescreens after running for about five minutes+sudden freeses).
2.Switch ram for a PC133 128MB Mushkin + fresh reinstalls outside the case. That didn't fix the problem completely. I was getting sudden freeses and "performed illegal operation" with IE and Notepad.
3.Switch case to a Enlight w/ 250W AMD approved power supply(that was done with mushkin module).Same thing.

Thanks for offering to purchase my mobo in case of my failure to comply with that system requirements :) . I can still RMA the board though.I will try out that first. and I don't think that you will want it. if you search the forums by my username you can read the previous posts that I had about it. Plus the techsupport from the place where I bought it wasn't too enthusiastic about the board's future.
