Crucial Rendition 1GB DDR2-800 Memory $7.89

UPS Ground shipping came out to $7.34 for two sticks, totalling $23.12 for 2GB no rebate no tax. Only 1 year warranty but I wouldn't expect crucial to fail. Their SPD followed JEDEC pretty carefully so they're not high performance (that'd be Ballistix) but these would be ideal for a Dell or something that needs a basic memory upgrade.

1GB = $11.98
2x1GB = $19.97

lol
makes you wonder why some people dont check the obvious places before posting what they think is hot...when in reality its above regular price elsewhere.

Comparable shipping at Newegg costs $25.60 total...not that $2.50 is a big deal, but the $3.99 Egg Saver shipping is a joke. It took almost two weeks to get a 8GB USB drive I ordered in early December.

Hence why I emphasized the shipping method.

According to newegg, it's lifetime warranty.

I see your deal and raise you one (free shipping).

Ya, thats a good deal too!!

Looks like we have a winner!!

I think I'd rather get the heatspreaders and Corsair customer support for an extra 8 bucks...

But both are great finds!

Keep an eye here, then. If it comes back in stock then it is even better. 😉

or if you prefer crucial for a few dollars more....

note
the crucial is cl6, the kingston is cl5 according to newegg

I have both the Crucial and the Kingston. Both work just fine at SPD. I'd personally take the Kingston because it is 1.8v for CAS 5 (which a lot of "enthusiast" RAM with heatspreaders won't do) plus it is really low profile, which is kind of unique. Seriously, the RAM sticks are about as tall as the clips on the RAM slots.

Maybe I'll get another set?
