Has anyone gotten the PC2700 to PC3200 speeds? Unfortunately Crucial doesn't sell PC3200.

Since they charge tax in IL I no longer buy from Crucial, but wait till it goes on Newegg 🙁

Crucial in general OC's pretty well. I'd be curious to know as well...I would think PC3200 would be easily doable. PC3500 or 3700 tougher...

 
I'm not needing this ram yet, but when it hits around mid 70's (if it even does that), I'm all over it. Ram prices have dropped really fast in the past few mos.
 
Oh man, 256MB DDR SODIMM is $44.99, I've been watching it fall for weeks now, I wonder how much lower it could go...

This obviously will also trigger a lot of other price drops in all other brands of RAM. Crucial almost always seems to lead the way in price drops...

According to mymemorystore.com, Samsung M368L6423DTM-CB300 512MB PC2700 is going for $85.71 (not at bulk pricing) , so they've pretty well matched the price at wholesale.

According to this review, this memory will hit PC3200 at CAS 2.5 and APC 10, and will do CAS 2 at PC2700. That is consistent with what I get out of Crucial PC2100, which will do PC2100 at CAS 2 and PC2700 at CAS 2.5.
 
Got bad Crucial ram a few months ago, the first bad stick i've ever got out of about 20 total sticks bought from various companies. Just one mans experience, don't kill the messenger please.
 
I had ordered some memory on on friday @ 103.99. I called them and they are going to give me a price adjustment to $89.99.
 
Must....resist.....urge......must.....wait.....longer......prices.....still.....heading.....down.

Whew, had to wrestle my wallet back into my pocket, it was pretty tough that time, great price on quality RAM. Hoping to see Crucial or some other big name with 512MB PC2700 sticks for under $75 by March. That's probably a realistic chance, no signs of prices leveling off or heading up any time soon.

256 2100 is now 40.99(was44.99 a minute ago), 2700 is 47.99(was 53.99).
