hi - i just built my first pc - i have the asus p5gd2 deluxe - it also wont run in turbo mode, just freezes on windows startup - i got the crucial 1gb pc5400 ddr2 ram - but when i boot up and go into the bios it says pc 4300 - its running in dual channel mode - i have already tried changing the cas latency and almost everything else under the chipset config tab - could somebody please help me get this memory to run at the rated speed of 667?? thanks alot! please respond!!!

Why does it really matter? You only need DDR 400MHz ram for the current P4 cpu's. You simply bought faster ram than is needed by any cpu. It may come in handy if you decide to overclock your cpu, but won't help any if you run your cpu at stock speed.
