Found this from another forum, someone posted a discount route to get it down a little bit more.
For those of you who think generic ram still works fine, then this isn't a deal for you.

128mb

256mb

tax and shipping might make this deal sour thou

A 128mb stick is a 7E ram that was sold out at Buy.com last week during free-shipping period. (256mb is also 7E)

No need to enter any coupon, just click on the blue "GO" button

Follow his instructions. Click "Corrected Link" in his post, which opens new browser with Crucial.com. Then click the "Go" button in the Crucial window, and search by partnumber. He's right on the money and it's a good deal.

Hmm, as I recall, this was my original post that Siamskunk "found on another forum", Thanks for the credit *grin* ... Link

Oh well, hope you guys enjoy the memory! The CAS2 Crucial memory should dance at 150Mhz CAS3. I personally got a 256MB Stick for myself. Can't wait to get it!

I believe buy.com carries some Crucial memory so you might be able to pricematch if they carry the same stuff and even add a coupon to it.

yeah, I bought this same piece of 256mb of cas2 ram the other day like a week ago, for 230 plus shipping I believe. I wonder if they price match? beh.. either way, its good stuff.. i put it in my g4, which runs pc100, so I'm sure its doing just fine, but I haven't tried (and' wont try) oc'ing it.

LiQiCE,
sorry I didn't carefully check the thread before I posted and said it was from another forum.
It's in fact from another forum as I said (Fatwllt)........I would have named you the original poster if I saw it. Sorry again.

Does anyone know the difference between 7E and non-7E? There's like 5 different versions of each memory...

Thanks for the post. Grabbed me 256MB. :)

Can anyone confirm this 7E stuff should work fine (hopefully boost the performance over my PC100 stuff) on a KT7-RAID?

Thanks!

Okay. I'm clueless. Which of the 128Meg "7e" modules is what I want?...

Please include the entire Crucial memory module number.

What are the differences between the 3 "7e" 128Meg modules?

thanks..., !

Forgot to mention, mine is running great at PC133 cas2, as it should... I have no doubt pretty much all of these can go faster, as has been reported.

I bought a 256 meg dimm after seeing it on fatwallet's forum a few days ago...what an awesome deal. For $1.50 more in shipping you can upgrade to overnight fedex...I ordered mine Saturday morning at 4am, and fedex got it and shipped it from Boise ID the same day. It's just left Memphis and I should get it Monday morning. Tracking is so cool!

For anyone wondering. The default shipping is 2-day air. $1.50 more for overnight is a good deal though. Seems that Crucial ships at cost, especially considering the packaging is custom. Should get that 128 mb dimm today :)
