This is news to me! Looks like they only recently started to offer their products on eBay (1 feedback). How do their eBay prices compare with the prices on the website?

they look similar.....why not lower?

plus they throw in the free 2 day fedex shipping and handling so there is no price differencial...i mean why not just take the 16% discount for AT users (in hot deals) and go to their site?

It looks strange. They have ONE feedback, and that feedback is from a person who had NO feedback except for them, and they bought it with Buy It Now.

Maybe I'm just paranoid.

Beats me. Might be that most would abandon the website in favor of going the eBay route.

maybe its a way to get your product (losing the 16% discount) but getting an eBay feedback in return?

I think crucial is starting to get greedy. First they had awesome prices with awesome CS. Now i think they are starting to take advantage of that great reputation they built up over the years. (i dont blame them though)

They have every right to charge whatever price they please. Although they're product and service is top notch, they start overcharging and the customers will start dropping like flies on a frog farm.

Edit: typo! :Q

Just recently I saw a seller named Newegg1 I think. He had a bunch of negatives. Had really low Athlon prices. Buyer beware...heck, I could probably name myself Dell4U over there. :)

IBM has been selling stuff on eBay successfully for some time now:
IBM eBay Store

Why not Crucial now? I won't be surprised if we'll see Mushkin, Newegg, Dell, Compaq and other manufacturers over there pretty soon too! :)
