Finally, after months of waiting, memory manufacturer Crucial Technology has made PC1600 DDR SDRAM modules available for sale.

Prices are very competitive: $US 77.39 for 128 MB, and $US 170.99 for 256 MB.

PC2100 modules, however, remain unavailable.

What about the performance difference between PC1600 and PC2100, is it worth more than double the price?
Any chance of something better? (PC2100+)

Cool, Its about time someone brings these prices down to reality.... These idiots monopolizing on the new RAM charging way too much... This should drive down prices...

:DHi Guy's,
A couple questions about this DDR-1600 Ram.
I assume I would need a new MB. ( 184 pin )
If so,what is available for P3-700 Flip Chip?
Asus would be great.
Thanks,
Mort
Edit: Just found my answer.Asus has a board for AMD.( A7M266 )
No help for me right now.

P.S. The reason I was asking is because I was going to go to
a CUSL2c soon.Would you wait for a DDR board?
Thanks again.
Mort
