When they ended free shipping back in March, I went ahead and bought even though I didn't need memory yet. I think it only lasted for like 2 weeks. Then they started offering free shipping again. Either they lead you believe the deal is over to get you to buy now, or they were losing to much business without the free shipping.

They have the 256MB PC133 CL2 for $42.49 !

Geez.. I've noticed that even the crap Ram is going for $30-35! IMO, why not buy the Crucial for a few $ more and treat your system to some quality stuff.

The folks over at the distributed computing forum are working on a special project to try and get Team Anandtech back into first place in the distributed.net OGR challenge.
