Crucial M4 $99 Newegg Shell Shocker (now OOS)

Must resist urge to purchase a second one .... mouse not responding to common sense/frugality feedback loop.....
 
Saw this on FW too, snatched one! Glad I didn't jump on that 256GB for $199 deal since I don't need that much on my OS drive.

I was actually in the process of checking out when I was notified they ran out, curses foiled again!
 
Had the Shell Shocker window open waiting for it, bought it the second it went live, checked back a minute or so later and it was sold out.
 
I think we'll see more of these deals... they are trying really hard to put a hurt on the small SSD brands...

I didn't even make it past checkout, right when 1pm hit I tried to place the order and it told me OOS. Shady.
 
Got one off ebay, thanks for the tip. And I had just got one of these last month for $130 and that was $30 off!
 
OOS on NewEgg Ebay.. that was hella fast... 605 sold in less than 2 hours

Just about every capacity M4 has been on sale in the past week, maybe the retailers are expecting news from Crucial to become public soon about a new wave of SSDs?

That and there is a SSD Price war going on... Bigger more established SSD brands trying to squeeze the smaller brands out of the business...
