crucial ddr 2100 with samsung

just went down to BB the other day to force them to sell me 256mb of micron pc2100 ddr for $35

i had a raincheck from a sale around christmas (gee whiz, like they haven't had it in stock for 2 months, i wonder why they never notified me?).

lo and behold, the crucial has samsung chips on it. i remember reading a bit on this a couple months back, but my searches came up short.

anybody have any opinions on these sticks with the samsung chips on them, or any links?

My best friend purchased some Crucial DDR w/ Samsung chips on it from either CompUSA or BestBuy (cause he couldnt wait for them to ship, he already had the computer built). He currently has it running at 155mhz and who knows how much higher it goes (limited by CPU of course)

Nice chips from what i've seen! No different from the Micron.

thanx, i'm glad to hear this.

i've actually got two-one with micron, the other with samsung. if i really get bored, maybe i'll compare the two, but they sound equivalent.

thanx again.
