I spoke with a Crucial Rep today on the phone and was told to expect the 2100 DDR to reappear and be available for order on March 25th. I asked if that was the target day and he quickly interjected that it would be available that day. No pricing info as of yet!

PC2100 was available on their UK site a week or two ago. I haven't looked in a while.

SUOrangeman-

It was available but they were supposedly engineering samples that weren't for general distribution. They had a run this weekend and got cleaned out. Supposedly those supplies were for developer types but someone foopahed and put them up for general distribution! All reports I've read said it was good stuff too, but this next revision is supposed to be much better and will be available in large enough quantities to satisfy more of the demand

mercutio11,

Crucial has a 30 day return policy. If you bought it less than 30 days ago, you can still return it.

I'm pretty sure PC1600 is the equivalent of PC100, and PC2100 is PC133...but DDR.

Sort of. PC1600 is the memory bandwidth. Its clocked @ 100MHz double pumped = 200MHz equivalent SDR.

PC2100 is the same except its clocked @ 133MHz double pumped = 266MHz equivalent SDR.

Another delay no doubt. I know we're all hoping that they sell it again for $60 for 128 megs of PC2100 but don't count on it. It will probably be double that price.

Ughhh, Crucial don't be a sell out..keep the prices low my god.

These companies are making the transition from SDRAM to DDR a pain in the ass if you ask me. There is no way DDR should cost double the price at this point.

I certainly hope it isn't delayed too much :(

They claimed that the price of PC1600 would be about the same as PC133 and the PC2100 a little more, but I wouldn't be surprised if initial demand didn't drive that up a little. You know how it is.
