Does anyone know if the crucial ballistix memory is compatible/stable with the DFI LanParty NF4 Ultra and the Asus A8N-E NF4 Ultra? I'd probably go with the DFI but want to check with compatibility first.

Thanks

I have used my Crucial Ballistix PC3200 with both an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe and my new MSI K8N Neo 4 Platinum SLI board with no problems running at 1T & 2-2-2-x (x = anywhere from 5 - 11 that i have tested)

Thanks, looks like the Asus should be good. Anyone have any experience with the DFI, I heard its picky on memory.

If you're going to overclock, I suggest getting the DFI. The reason why they say its picky is due to overclocking. Some ram overclocks better than others. If you're not going to do much ocing I would say get the ASUS.

Mine works just fine. I can run 2-2-2-7 timings at 2.8vs just fine. Unfortunatly I did have some booting issues but never had to RMA

Well I will o/c some but I'm not going to be pushing it to the limits.
I trust on the Asus it should be good.

So you say the DFI should be fine with the Ballistix and some o/c?
