Does anyone know if the crucial ballistix memory is compatible/stable with the DFI LanParty NF4 Ultra and the Asus A8N-E NF4 Ultra? I'd probably go with the DFI but want to check with compatibility first.
I have used my Crucial Ballistix PC3200 with both an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe and my new MSI K8N Neo 4 Platinum SLI board with no problems running at 1T & 2-2-2-x (x = anywhere from 5 - 11 that i have tested)
If you're going to overclock, I suggest getting the DFI. The reason why they say its picky is due to overclocking. Some ram overclocks better than others. If you're not going to do much ocing I would say get the ASUS.
