Crucial Ballistix 1GB DDR2 modules no workie

My friend asked me to help him fix his non-booting computer problems...

Ended up being the memory, he has 4 x 1GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer ram installed, and I tried them one by one and 2 of the 4 prevented the computer from booting.

The other 2 work fine...

So I left him with 2GB of ram, he found a 2GB set for sale locally used, and now he's happy with 4GB again...

He gave me the 2 non-working modules...

Do these have lifetime warranty? How would I go about that if they do? I've never RMA'd anything before...

They're cool ram, and apparently not available anymore and would be replaced with Ballistix Sport, but meh, DDR2 is expensive and I'd love to be able to get my spare computer together (DDR2 ram is all I'm missing)

Yes, you call them and they are lifetime warranty.

After the RMA, ebay them. Crucial Ballistix are junk. We have RMA'ed over 9 sets from my friends 2 computers. After getting a different brand, it has been stable for 2 yrs now. So it was not somthing my friend was doing wrong.

I have used cruical regualr ram over the years on printers, and laptops, and have nt had issues. But the ballistix must have been made of low quality.
