Good deal.

Not threadcrapping, but I still can't help but think of all the awesome deals I got on DDR3 a while back, my best one was 16GB for $57. Really hard to shell out this much money for DDR4 knowing how cheap DDR3 was. :(

Memory prices go up and down each year or two, its just matter of time when prices will be lowered once again soon.

Wow, that is almost DDR3 territory! Quit trying to get me to build a Haswell-E box, dammit!

Three years ago I purchased 4x8GB DDR3 1.35V 1600 for $140. This is still an awesome price. The way DDR4 (and dram prices are trending in general) it almost tempts me to begin preparations for a Skylake rig. :(

However I'm still holding off as perhaps a motherboard manufacturer will kludge together a solution allowing DDR3 to be run with Skylake. :) The actual benefits of DDR3 vs. DDR4 are almost nil on the desktop and are only realized in a large power-hungry server environment.
