Just a quick question ...

I'm going to buy 256MB PC133 RAM for my Abit KT7A ... right now I have 128MB from Crucial and I saw that Dell had Kingston RAM (256MB) for about $26 shipped. Crucial is offering theirs at $34 shipped. Is Crucial better than Kingston? If not really, then will I have problems with them working together (128MB Crucial + 256MB Kingston)? They both will have CL=3.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again.

crucial and kingston will work fine together. but for only 8 bucks difference, i would say go with the crucial. keeping them the same kind of RAM will at least make you feel good, even if it's not really necessary!

Yeah, at one point, I ran ...

128MB Crucial
128MB Kingston
128MB Generic

No problems on an Intel mobo.

I suggest you to buy
2 valueram $22x2+4 = $48 instead of 1 Crucial cas2 $34+tax(maybe),
and leave the 128M Crucial in closet.
