LOL, when will this stop! :) Though I heard somewhere that at the end of February, prices of SDRAM are going up again, don't know if that's true, but they have to go up one day, right?!?!?

what they charge for tax to ship to NY seems like its not free shipping anymore :( i think it was 9+ dollars. Now if there is no tax AND free shipping that would be great :D

Oh well I caved in and ordered, just can't believe this stuff just over 100 for PC133 CAS2 RAM. Ah the old days, when 64 was too expensive :).

Do you guys see the trend?
They drop the cas2 to near cas3 price or even same such as 128M now.
Later they will drop cas3 price to again much less than cas2.
And then later they will drop cas2 again.

128 is enough for almost anything these days.. Why are you guys getting so much ram? Would i notice a difference going from 128 to 384?

More Ram helps if you're running Adobe or Studio Max. If you're playing q3 all day it's not gonna make a differnce. Some people "claim" 256 loads faster then 128 and that's hogwash. I work for a game developer and have had a chance to do a TON of tests and it's made no difference in that regard.
