As Russia accounts for 12.5 per cent of the world's land mass, according to Illarionov the use of complete Russian records would significantly reduce the figures on global warming in recent times.

The Hadley Center only used a quarter of the data gathered by such stations in its reports.

The IEA said the data was not included in the Hadley CRU survey often does not show any substantial warming in the late 20th century and the early 21st century. However the IEA is also a bit of an agenda. Business interests in Russia have been concerned that people will stop buying Russian gas an petrol if the global warming theory ever gets taken seriously.

Opps I accidentally, the data...

Too P&N for OT and probably not enough commentary to be moved to P&N so I'm locking this one.
