CRT vs. LCD - Is it time to switch yet?

just how many hours do you people spend behind your monitors? personally i would say a good 10 hours on weekdays and like 16-18 hours on weekends. honestly, i feel no eyestrain to speak of, and my eyevision havnt degraded much since i started using the computer (the tv did it for me). having eyes less prone to fatigue is a gift i suppose

yes, it is. its not a magical flourescent tube that doesn't flicker you know. its just that the entire screen is redrawn at once, instead of line by line which is quite a bit less noticable.

Speak for yourself. Mine works using a pixie.
