CRT - Samsung or Viewsonic 19 inch?

I am currently looking at buying a CRT monitor. There are 2 that stand out for me and was wondering what your opinions are on them? Which one is better? Are there any reviews around? Thanks

1. Samsung Dynaflat 997 DF Black $ 289.99

My 997DF has been fine so far, though I hear Viewsonic's offering may be better, as well as NEC's Diamondtrons.

The Samsung 997 runs $200 @ Best Buy or $213 @ Amazon (free shipping). The Viewsonic P95F+ recently went out of stock at Amazon but listed @ $270. User reviews for both at Amazon. You can also search AnandTech for user reviews too. Visiting the Amazon site you can see there is a promo ending Jan 16 offering $15 - $150 back in future Amazon purchases.

I live in Canada so none of those offers or uber low prices apply to me 🙁 So from what I am reading the Viewsonic is the better monitor? No one here to defend the samsung??

My father has the viewsonic, my GF has the samsung. I would say they're very comparable monitors, if cost were no issue, I'd take the viewsonic, but I don't think it's worth the difference. I found the samsung for $180 shipped when my GF got hers - buy.com w/ a coupon, I believe.
