I've dug a little deeper and looked at several articles covering this story.

The media is going out of it's way to cover up the race of the attackers, they were black, and also going out of their way to state that race played no factor. Possibly alcohol but not race. I don't know that they would state this so emphatically if the mob had been composed of another race.

I don't know if the victim was an illegal or not and I don't care. He had a job which is something I doubt anyone in the drunken mob possessed.

Excellent observation, anybody who lives with their mother and sister are obviously illegal.

Well, first and foremost, the person's name has to be in Spanish in order for that person to qualify as an illegal.

Why waste a good place like that?

Find it and I'll prolly move there. Mountains and deep valleys not only keep people in, but others out (like polititions).

I have a concealed carry permit, carry a gun daily, own 8 guns overall, and I am a member of the NRA. While I do believe the media is anti-gun that is not what pissed me off.

Its the fact that the guy was beaten to death that pisses me off. He wasn't even driving the damn car and he got friggen BEAT to death.

WTF Kneejerk much? Stating a fact which the police state so the reader knows a little more about the events is now "anti-gun"??? I would say whether or not a crowd out in public is armed is pertinent to the story.

You know what pisses me off is you gun nuts jumping down the throat of anyone who says anything that even remotely sounds like it MIGHT be anti-gun. What weapons (or not) were used to kill this person seems pretty relevant to the story, and a story about someone getting killed naturally assumes deadly weapons of some sort...the fact that people did it WITHOUT any weapons strikes me as worth mentioning.

I'm pro-2nd amendment, I don't think we should ban guns...but I wish we could ban gun nuts. And I'm not talking about folks like Darwin333...unless he lives or works in the ghetto, I don't see a NEED for him to carry a concealed weapon at all times, but hell, it's his right to do that if he wants to. But in addition to being a gun owner, he also seems like a decent person who realized that MAYBE the story here wasn't about throwing a hissy fit about some imagined slight to your gun ownership. I think the pro-gun argument would do a lot better with more gun owners like Darwin333 and fewer of your variety, you're doing nothing but confirming the non-gun folks' idea that gun nuts are, well, nuts.

Here's the article on the Milwaukee event. They even have a picture of the guy in his car just before he got beat by the mob. Seems he owned a store in the area as was leaving it as the crowd turned on him for no apparent reason it seems other then not being black.
