CrossFire with multi screens

Got a question for those of you running multiple displays with CrossFire setup.

When you enable CF, do you only get display on 1 screen only? Also, does it require reboot? I remember when I first ran nVidia's SLI, that was the most annoying feature... I don't mind the card displaying to the main screen only for gaming, but I'd hate to reboot back and forth...

I have 2 x 3870's coming my way and wondering whether I should even bother with CF. Not a heavy gamer and I don't do FPS, but I like to play Company of Heroes with eye candies enabled. 🙂 Coming off of 2 x 1900XTX setup. Mainly went with HD series for power comsumption... lol..

Anyone out there with experience?
Thanks in advance!

I run 3 x 18" Viewsonics.
Rest of my system spec if it helps:
Intel 955EE
Asus P5W DH
4GB Corsair XMS2
Vista Ultimate x64

Crossfire supports multiple monitors, so you should be able to use all 3 of your displays. Just make sure to get the 8.3 drivers because AFAIK those are the only ones that support multiple monitors with Crossfire so far. 🙂

It works just like a singe card. If you have a game running on one screen, the other stays on. My monitors were different sizes, so I didn't try spanning the game. The 8.2 and the 8.3 drivers both support this, but you'll want to get the 8.3's anyway because they added a few other features as well.

Cool. Very nice. Thanks guys.

Not really looking to span while gaming, just wanted to avoid the annoyance of rebooting when I need that extra "oomph". 🙂
