oh, and btw ill find a link on why nvidia made the SLI to compete with a single X850 XT PE. But if you do some searching while i find the link, youll see that the Radeon X850XT PE runs at 540Mhz ( http://www.bjorn3d.com/read.php?cID=741 ). While the 7800 GTX (NEWER than the X850XTPE) only runs at 430Mhz ( http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Hardware/Previews/G70preview/ ). As you can see without a link (until i find it). It's common sense Nvidia is trying to compete with ATi by making a faster SINGLE GPU, 540Mhz > 430Mhz. So as you can see, Nvidia wants to make a faster video card, therefore they made the SLI which can compete against clockspeeds with the X850XT PE.
SLI (7800 GTX) - 430Mhz * 2 = 830Mhz
Crossfire (X850XT PE) - 540 * 2 = 1080Mhz
LOL Enough people have already beat me to p3wning you that I don't need to bother.
Your brother works at ATI in Markham, Ontario?
If he's on the Crossfire or R520 team, I'm starting to perhaps see some of the reason ATI can't seem to get the products to market?
You need to grow up and read up.
