Crossfire chipset roundup

Wow. 5% improvement from P45 to X48? That's a lot closer than I expected.

Maybe P45 Crossfire isn't so worthless after all. Performance is slightly down (online Crysis/UT3 players should probably still opt for X48 if they want to run 1920x1200)... but not as much as expected, and power usage is significantly lower with P45.

I guess that kinda makes P45 the "Green Crossfire" option for those not obsessed with every fps.

I'm just a bit more thrilled about the near-future potential of my recent P5Q Deluxe purchase, thanks for the link thilan. 🙂

Nice review, thanks OP..

I wish they would have included the 4870 though, to see if the gaps widens considerably when pushing more graphics power.
