Yeah youre right on the 30 day warranty. On second thought I wouldn't. It still seems to me you have something else going on there with your framerates. You probably play at a much higher Monitor resolution than 1080p.

no I am at 1920x1080. there are several settings that have a huge impact on framerates so two people with identical computers can have completely different results for GTA 4 or pretty much any other game.

Spivey, my advise is save a few bucks and buy a 5830 and a used overclockable Quad cpu. 425$ at most.

Sell your e8500 and 8800gt for about 150$

Thats 275$ out of pocket for double the framerates and a much better cpu for future games.

Thats what I did. In the past 2/3 months I went from a e5400 @ 3.6 with a 8800gt,e8400 @ 3.6, upgraded 8800gt to a 9800gtx+1gb, to a gtx 260. Then bought a quad core 9550 @ 3.6 and then traded my 125$ gtx 260 for a 5750 +40$ a few days ago to hold me over till I pick a faster gpu.

I got real good prices for all this stuff used. And sold it for at least what I paid for it.

Bottom line. A quad core and 5830 should be in your future. :]
