Since the ATI + AMD thing, I don't know if I will be able to have Crossfire with Conroe in the future. Will this board be the last one that allows it? Click

No one really knows.

I kinda doubt it TBH, but it's hard to say.

Intel will have a majority of the CPU market for the forseeable future, so DAAMIT would be nuts to write off a huge market for ATI video cards.

Of course AMD is having its share of problems (like paper launching the 35watt X2's) so maybe there are drunken monkeys in charge now who will give up the revenue out of pique.

I have reread my post, & what i was trying to say came across completely not how i intended.

The Crossfire chipset mobos ATi is currently working on will come out, of course.
That i don't doubt.

What i was trying to say is that i'm not sure how far into the future Intel will allow CF on their own chipsets.
Frankly, i doubt they'll allow that to continue much longer.

But as i mentioned earlier, i'm sure we'll see a number of good CF C2D mobos, & perhaps even for several years.

I don't even think that motherboard supports crossfire or SLi at least on that link it doesn't say I am too lazzy to check the asus website.
