Not especially. The readers and posters at AT tend to be more highly educated, better read, and have a wider perspective than the general population. Actually the internet as a whole is like this. Which would explain why Kerry is doing better on the internet than in the US as a whole![]()

Try not to think that way - it's what gets people like Bush elected by folks who have sworn off EVER voting for a democrat (whether because of Clinton, or whatever).
You always have to be prepared to change your mind, or at least to go against your normal behaviour, when appropriate.

Personally I think people who vote for or against party lines without considering the people running shouldn't be voting at all. Anyone who's paying the least bit of attention knows McCain isn't anything like Bush. I'd gladly vote for him in 2008 if he runs. People can widely vary even in the same party, voting along party lines is just silly and represents a lack of thinking.
