cropping a video

I have a few videos that I want to crop just the bottom off and keep the rest the same. I tried virtual dub but when I just do the bottom it takes the side off too to keep the aspect ratio I guess. Is there a way to just crop part of the bottom of the video while keeping the sides and top the same??

Yes, using virtual dub.
Use the fill filter not resize filter.
