Haven't put together a new system in like 2? or 3? years I forget, so I need to know if there are any problems with this setup: (like I picked incompatible parts, or they have little known problems with eachother, or what.)

Newegg links:
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum SLI Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice Integrated into Chip FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3200BPBOX - Retail

OCZ EL Platinum Revision 2 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model OCZ4001024ELDCPER2-K - Retail

ATI 100-435500 Radeon X800XL 256MB GDDR3 PCI-Express x16 Video Card - OEM

Antec PERFORMANCE TX1088AMG Gray Steel Server Computer Case 480W Power Supply - Retail

Intention was to have a motherboard with good upgradability(but I dont know that much about what is coming up in future)
Would probably get SLI when next gen cards drop alot in price.

Priority is gaming, but budget is a definate concern, good stable overclocking with aircooling would be a plus 🙂

Any problems, suggestions, stuff I should change?

Thanks.

dont go sli its a watse of money. i mean, unless you just have to have the BEST thing ever. its just their way of making more money when they dont have any new products out.

get the dfi ultra d. otherwise, you look good. pick up an xp-90/xp-120

or a zalman. get a dfi ultra d as they (obviously like above) very nice. sli is kinda useless, most games can't benefit the doubled power anyway. g70 > sli.
