Critique new PC build components

It's about time to build a new PC. I'm looking for something that will play newer games decently, has room to upgrade in the future, and isn't much more than $1000.

Here are the parts I've got picked out from Newegg so far:

Part Name Price MIR Net

Case Coolermaster Centurion 532 ATX 74.99 74.99
MB ECS C19-A SLI Socket T nForce 4 SLI 79.99 -10 69.99
CPU Intel P D 930 800MHz FSB, 3.0GHz 170.99 170.99
P/S Aspire ATX 520W 59.99 59.99
RAM OCZ Gold 2gb DDR2 (1024x2) 182.99 -40 142.99
Video eVGA 7900GT Superclocked 289.99 289.99
HD WD Caviar 250gb SATA 89.99 -10 79.99
DVD Lite-On 16x DVD+R 37.99 37.99
Fans Aspire 120mm case fan 4.99 4.99
CPU Fan Cooler Master 92x25mm fan/heatsink 27.99 27.99
Thermal Grease Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound 5.99 5.99

Total: $1025.89 - $60 in MIRs = $965.81

Let me know if there are any components on that list that I should avoid for any reason, or if there are better deals on different parts. Thanks.

I second the ASUS board. They are a little bit more expensive but are rock solid. NEC is another good brand for optical drives.

Pick another PSU. Perhaps one of these (in my post) would be suitable:

Will any of the PSUs you recommended there be able to handle my system in SLI with a second 7900GT if I decide to add one on later? The Antec I selected is 520W, so I assumed it'd be fine for that, but all of the ones you recommend are much lower.
The FSP400-60GLN should be able to do it, but it only comes with one PCI-e connector. You would need to use an adapter in order to power the 2nd 7900GT. I don't think the S12-380 would be able to handle it, but the S12-430 can, though like the FSP400-60GLN it only comes with one PCI-e connector. The Nextherm could definitely do it although it (again...) only comes with a single PCI-e connector.

EDIT: You didn't select an Antec, you selected an Aspire.

Okay.

Adding a BenQ DVD Burner for $44.99 and the ASUS P5LD2 motherboard for $154.99 brings the total to $1057.89 before shipping.

Are there any other Pentium D boards that are cheaper than $155 and have SLI capabilities? This was the cheapest/only ASUS one Newegg had.

Edit: How about this board? EPoX EP-5NVA+SLI for $109.99

Try this, used this for a number of Pentium D 900 series builds...

It says it will not work with pentium D's, but I don't know why. It does, and out of the box as well.
