That's the final edition. Just sent it to the printers and emailed it to the client(?) - well, it's notsomuch a 'client' as more a 'friend' but I wanted to sound professional for once. :p

THanks for the recommendations!

It's not finished - and I have a list of bands(6) and the the bar address that I need to put in - even with it in there(I haven't decided on the fonts yet, so that's why they're not in yet) it still looks empty :( - any suggestions on the content/composition/colors?

Btw, it was made using Macromedia Fireworks MX and Adobe Illustrator CS2. (Constructive) Criticisms are welcome!

edit: I did not resize the .jpg - it's designed to be 18"x24", so it's big.
Is it supposed to say Bulesque Queens? Not Burlesque?

Also, this thing is only 18x24" at 72 DPI... that's an unusually low resolution to print at (though native resolution for computer-only work, like what you put on web sites). For print work, I usually do at least 267 DPI, but preferably 400. At 267 DPI, this thing is only like 1.5x2".

EDIT: Also, I hope a JPEG isn't what you're giving the printer. You want a lossless format, especially with something like this with a lot of sharp, clean lines. Try TIFF or PNG.

Maybe you should spell Burlesque correctly.

Nahh...send it off for printing.

not too bad, it does look empty withotu the txt in the middle. I wouldn't use too dark of a color for the txt since the contrast to the other colors will be horrible but don't use lighter or like colors either!!!!
will all depend on the txt i think

Whooops, will fix the spelling!

Anyhow, for the other concerns, it's originally a .pdf, so I'm not worried about the print quality there. :p

Keep them coming!

change the font of "live at paulie's" because it looks like you just put a big space between all the letters.
