I'm in the midst of making a spec list to build a computer and so far this is what I have. I'm trying to put together a mid-range computer. Can you guys tell me if there is anything with the parts-list I put together here and please critique and give any suggestions. Thanks

case - $140 - http://www.anitec.ca/product/8...usb%2c_audio%2c_esata/
motherboard - $120 - http://www.anitec.ca/product/1...ocket_775_motherboard/
cpu - $170 - http://www.anitec.ca/product/1..._socket_775_processor/
ram - $86 - http://www.anitec.ca/product/1....0gb_dual_channel_kit/
gfx - $115 - http://www.anitec.ca/product/1...12mb_pci_express_2.0/-
hd - $74 - http://www.anitec.ca/product/9...s_32mb_hard_drive_oem/

People generally appreciate the name of the part being listed in your post. The more work people have to do to help you, the less likely they are to do it.

What's the computer going to be used for?

Amen brother!
We don't want to click all around the internet just to get an idea of what parts are listed.
Much less be lured into clicking somespam/trogan/worm page.
All it takes is a "click" and your system is screwed up for days if not for good.

agreed. one first glance thought the links were to antec.com "when the hell did antec start selling cpus and crap." that site's prices are high. for $170 you should be getting e8400.

Not in Canada.

NCIX & directcanada are usually your best bets (no PST unless you live in BC) and NCIX price matches.

Yeah, I know.

To clarify, I meant E8400 >> CA$170.

And also NCIX & directcanada are still better with lower shipping cost & no PST. 🙂
