Criticize This Build

It looks perfect. Are you going to overclock? I'd only suggest adding an additional cheap and low-noise case fan or two and possibly some kind of a cooler for HDD, as it is a fast one (it's not necessary!)

1). Z68 chipset motherboard is better than P67 motherboard and the price difference is not much. I'd get this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128502

or this if you want eSATA, 1394, extra 6.0Gb/sec SATA ports and front USB 3.0 header

2). Get the least expensive DDR3 1333MHz RAM since memory speed don't impact system performance. I'd get this GSkill Ripjaws X series for $65 (after $15 off w/ promo code EMCKDKA22, ends 6/15)

3). CX series PSU is the lowest end of Corsair's PSUs and 600W is overkilled for your system. I'd get this high quality Seasonic's built 520W Antec PSU for $59.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371047

4). You can buy the same Samsung 1TB 7200RPM HDD at Newegg for $49.99

It's actually a list for a build that my sister wants to do -- probably not a lot of overclocking up front, but I wanted to make the option available.

Performance PCs carries the CM fans that are stock for this case, so i'll let her know that; she'll probably need to add a couple.

Thanks very much for the suggestions; I'll pass these along as options. I went with MC for the drive mainly to avoid having it shipped.

 The savings there will let you bump up to a GTX 560 Ti.

Well, the HDD is going to be shipped either way. Either to the MC store or direct to you. I doubt that an individual MC store gets enough of a particular HDD SKU such that they would get a whole pallet.
