It's really irresponsible of the guy who found the bug to publicize it so quickly :| Not clear what exactly is the alleged "run-in" with Mozilla yet though..

The temporary fix would be going into about:config and set network.enableIDN to false. It's probably not gonna affect much of your daily browsing activities.

thanks, but if anyone really wants to hack into my computer through mozilla, i'll buy them a buy for wasting their time on my machine. lol

International Domain Names

It's not that widely used yet so it likely won't be a big issue for most (English-speaking) people.
