Restart event option is awesome but I don't understand why they are changing some of the other stuff. Vehicle handling was fine as were the events imo.

I can appreciated all those changes. Don't know where they got their ideas of updates from, but those are pretty much everything I would've suggested.
Such a great game, I hope they keep adding to this one and a few million people buy it. A great blueprint for a long term game + DLC model.

Scares me actually. Mechanics were fine as-is, I hope they dont ruin it.

I continue to be amazed at the updates on this game. EA should take note.

Same here, I cant believe how much the game has evolved since launch.

Dang, now I have to decide between this and Midnight Club: LA. I was leaning toward MC:LA but the update makes me think Burnout might have more life left in it (even though it's an older game).

MC:LA has real cars, tuning, a real city, and people, plus pretty much all the stuff in Burnout, which makes sense since it came out later. Burnout community seems more active, and will probably last longer with the free updates. Burnout also feels more polished. You cant really go wrong with either, but Burnout is probably cheaper. I'd buy both, as the cost of both used is probably the cost of 1 game new.
