I don't think a lot of people can wrap their minds around what a travesty the police and justice system is in the country's largest city. They pretty much behave like a gang and have near total immunity for illegal and unprofessional behavior.
Who knew punching someone in the head could hurt your hand.

A homeless man known only as Joseph T. was charged with felony assault for kicking an NYPD officer in the hand after he was punched and dragged off a subway train.

The officer actually hit the metal pole when punching the guy in the head. The homeless needs a payday for getting beat down for no reason.
