India is playing excellent cricket this year. I think they'll win it.

Yup they are. Yet, their bowling attack still sucks (except for Shami & Ashwin).

The NZ vs SA game is on now and it's all happening - 2 dropped catches, Amla bold by Boult! 😀

SA in big trouble, 31/2... DeVill is yet to bat so you never know... but New Zealand is just awesome! best right now, I think thy will take it

Finally a good close match, rain brought the extra drama, very entertaining. I was rooting for SA but still happy, good game all in all.

Well, end of the run...

At the end, when 4 of the top batsmen don't show up, the team can't do anything. Only Dhawan, and later Dhoni, displayed some sense of responsibility and urgency. Getting out within a dozen balls, or staying much longer but not batting according to the target in front just shows they did not realize what they had to do. I am guessing that since each main batsman had played a key role in at least one of the prior matches, they must have felt - "I've done my part. Time for somebody else today"

For all his great name, Virat does not seem to have a sense of occasion. If ever he needed to put a stamp on the game, today was it, with the glory to follow. But I guess he has enough fame, money and fan followingto not worry about such minor things.

I expect Clarke to trump McCullum on sunday, so I may not even watch.

So the reason you don't like it is that it was invented long ago? And the proof that you are right is that it is not followed in Canada?

LOL.

Yeah, that's the only reason. Seriously?

Canada is one of the most significant members of the commonwealth, yet it absolutely doesn't care about cricket. Ever wonder why?

It being invented so long ago on means it should be far more popular in the world today than it is. Instead, it is pretty much just some members of the commonwealth and a few nearby countries that participate. That's all.
