Cricket Wireless

Argghhh, their web site is driving me nuts. There is a deal if I get the new phones activated by December 6. I get $100 back for leaving another service provider. So that is $200.

I ordered 3 new phones. I currently have two phones on Verizon. The 3 new phones are not here yet. The cricket wireless site keeps asking for the EMEI number. I don't have the new phones yet so I can't do this step. And Cricket will not let me continue through the ordering process. So I can't get the SIM cards by Friday (they say 2 day shipping)

What am I doing wrong here?

It's an awesome deal and I wish I could leave Cricket and sign up again. I also wish they still offered their "Advanced" 20GB plan for $60 - $5 auto pay discount = $55.

A few days ago I helped someone switch from GoSmartMobile.com (T-Mobile MVNO) to Cricket Wireless and they scored:
  • 1) Free Moto E 2nd gen with Android 5.x Lollipop microSD (after rebate)
  • 2) Free $100 gift card after rebate.
  • 3) Free $25 referral which I receive and they receive

I plan on adding another 4 lines to my current Cricket service porting in 4 $0.99 T-Mo SIMs x $100 each = $400 then I'm kinda lost after that step, reading up on SD/FW/HoFo on how to merge lines, etc. If anyone has suggestions, please feel free to PM me.

Sorry I know this doesn't help but I'd get signed up ASAP as the $100 offer expires Sunday 12/6/15.

The imei part was annoying for me too! For whatever reason cricket didn't like my zenphone 2 imei number. I had to dig out old phones to get an imei number

Why can't you use the Verizon phones imeid? I used my Note 3 from Verizon to switch to Cricket. It just gave me the option to order a universal sim kit.

If you're using the IMEI printed on the phone or box and it doesn't work I have another idea.

Power on the phone, dial *#06# and it should show a slightly different IMEI which might work? Let us know.

Switched to Cricket 2-3 weeks back from Straight Talk and added another phone (kinda sucks though, bought the Lumia 640 a few months back and then finally got it added, and missed out on the Black Friday deal and this Cricket deal now on the Moto). I signed up for automatic pay but it's not giving the $5 per line discount for some reason? Does that only kick in after the first month or something? Or will I need to contact them to get it to apply it?

Other than that I've been happy (was paying about the same and getting no data on a non-smartphone and 5GB to getting 2.5GB and 10GB). Was using ATT SIM before but it would only pull LTE in weird places. Getting LTE everywhere with Cricket on both phones.

The $5 auto-pay discount took a month to kick in for me--I never needed to contact anyone at Cricket to get it working. Haven't had an issue with it since.
