anybody read this book? I think I'm the only one that was scared sh!tless because of it: I tried reading it a few years ago and spent sleepless nights being scared (I dont' even know what I was scared of). then I just put the book down when I was about 4/5 through. am I the only one or did it mess up your head too? as for the movie, it wasn't scary: a few disgusting scenes here and there but that's it.

i quite enjoyed that book, as well as the movie. i have yet to find a book/movie which actually scares me/causes me to lose sleep. guess i'm too out of it for that to happen 😉 but rainbow six by tom clancy did get me thinking

Good book but I was disappointed with the ending as I am with many of his works.

Got scared reading Steven Kings Salems Lot while staying in a motel in the boonies somewhere. About 2 am and he is telling about the little doorway that leads to where the Vampires sleep. I went into the bathroom and right next to the toilet was a Little door!!!

I was kind of disappointed by the book. I really like some of his other stuff, and when I read sphere it kind of turned me away. I guess I was hoping for something more out of the book, and in the end, was unhappy.
