i bought mine at Target... they were marked $37.45... but they rang up $36.... -$7 coupon... $29+tax..

i go to stop&shop... they're $44.95!!! :Q

thank god i bought mine at Target.

I am about halfway through a box of these, and my teeth are noticeably whiter. Not only that, but you're supposed to use them twice a day, and I've been using them only once a day, for the most part. So, for me at least, they work. I'll probably get another box after this one, and see if I can make my teeth transparent..

hahahaha... that's just plain funny

I know what you mean. I used them a few months ago and I thought that they were a little bit uncomfortable. It wasn't so much the top ones as it was the bottom ones. There were a few times when I had to keep fixing the strip I had on the bottom because it kept moving when I talked.

Are you doing what the box said? It suggests that you should use all the top ones first and then when you get done with them use all of the bottom ones. I just did them all at once so that I didn't have to go through four weeks of the hassle.

They are worth it in the long run. 🙂

as Amanda said, they do work and they are worth it, even though they're uncomfortable (just wait till you get to the bottom ones..)

i'm putting them on at the same time... top & bottom...

damn these bottom ones are a pain.... i hadda adjust them like 20 times...

If you can go an hour without talking it helps. 🙂

I thought you only had to keep them on for 20minutes at a time?

You leave each strip in for thirty minutes. You are supposed to wear two strips a day. If you wear them one right after the other then it will take one hour. 🙂

Or you could simply accept the fact your teeth are supposed to be off-white in color. But I suppose that's too easy.

Yeah, and if you drink coffee or smoke just accept the fact that your teeth are ugly. And accept the fact that chics don't dig guys with brown teeth...And accept.....blah, blah.....

Out of curiousity, are these supposed to whiten teeth that are discolored due to smoking and coffee, or will they work for just generally yellowish teeth?

I think that they work for both. Discoloration due to smoking and coffee is harder to get off though. 🙂

just a tip, drinking coffee with a straw helps keep you from staining😛

These things are actually very dangerous. What they do is take the enamel off of your teeth allowing them to get cavaties easier and have less layers of protection against decay.

Don't do those things if they discolor your teeth. Brown teeth are not natural. Off-white is natural.

No way, are you for real? :Q I was about to get a box until I read your statement... anyone know this is true?

EDIT: Well, found the answer to my question at Crest Whitetrips' site:

Question
Are Whitestrips safe to use?

Answer
Crest Whitestrips have been shown to be safe in consumer and extensive clinical and laboratory testing when used as directed.

Whitestrips contain hydrogen peroxide, the same enamel-safe ingredient used in professional tooth whitening systems. Hydrogen peroxide has been used in various products and at various levels to whiten teeth since the late 1980's, and is also found in commonly marketed toothpaste products. The design of the product provides a controlled amount of hydrogen peroxide, which limits the user's exposure.

Each strip contains about the same amount of peroxide as brushing with a Baking Soda/Peroxide toothpaste. The strips hold the peroxide in contact with the teeth longer than with toothpaste.

I used them. I was looking like Tony Robbins after a month. Only bad part is falling asleep with them in your mouth and waking up with a dry strip hanging off your face 😱
