Creepy Voicemail

so my little sister has been getting these calls from a out of town phone number and has not been picking up, and finally this morning at 6:30 they leave a voice mail with a bunch of moans ala 'i know what you did last summer' and really creeped her out (7 min worth). so i am torn on what to do. any suggestions?

i did a reverse white page lookup and the number billing address is from our town so it's weird they have an out of town area code. i have not paid the 15 dollars to find out who it is.

any ideas would be much appreciated

well yeah, but she called all her friends and they basically swore it was none of them, i am doing this more because she really got freaked out and had to calm her down (took about 30 min)
 
First, I'd call the phone co. and tell them she has been getting harassing calls. Second, get your sister a referee's whistle or airhorn. Next time they call, let 'um have it. I guarantee they won't be hearing for awhile.

Im not sure about it being kosher, but if the he/she is a douchebag enough to leave someone distburbing messages.....I say he deserves the reverse many times over 😛.

Plus I think a bunch of us have skype 😀 so we can just use that

Just call the police, file a report, and press harrassment charges. The cops will do the digging and take care of the problem for you. That's why they're there.
 
Just pay the $15 to find out who it is, then go to the police to file a report...

And then, post his number on here so we can all have some fun...

I've done the whistle trick with wired phones, and believe me, it worked. My father worked for Ohio Bell/ATT for 41 years, and he's the one that suggested this solution. Maybe todays cell/internet phones won't carry the required frequency/loudness to be affective?
