Creepy Thanksgiving Sales and Buying

yet again, bohemia will buy, buy and buy after Thanksgiving to let their anger, frustration, and deep sense of insecurity only to be covered by clothes and worldly trinkets, momentarily!

yet again, bottom lines on Wall Streets will turn into black, not in unbizarre fashion!!

yet again, it will be true that there is so no such joy or happiness from buying or spending your own hard-earned bread!

yet again, though markets will be flocked with congregation moving in frenzied hurries...

i do feel joy when i make someone else happy by buying them a gift
i feel pride in purchasing cool and useful stuff that i have worked hard to earn

did you feel happy by demonstrating your unjustified ignorance and bitterness towards humanity in an incomprehensible whine session? even momentarily?

all the wealth in the world was created out of consumerism

Wealth as in money and things.

on lighter note, yes it is one of the problems.

Blackouts, incoherent ranting about consumerism -- sounds like it's time for you to cut back on the drinking.
why on earth do you think this is such a serious matter? what makes you act like its the end of the world. how do you think this compares to truly serious world problems? is the fact that the US spends a lot of money really so horrible as a 38% HIV prevalance rate in Botswana? That is sad, not the fact that we define a holiday season by spending money.

as in, the fact that you have electricity, and 4 walls around you right now and clean water to drink

there's ways to have those things without consumerism.

Edit: and those things are overated anyway. I don't know how to live anyother way, but I wish I did. Like a wigwam and where clean water is a given.

What I said about alcohol was just a joke, looks like Zanix took it seriously.

Hey, I did not mean to hit hard on the right note, but if you watch TV closely you will start noticing commercials from credit counceling agencies, bankruptcy lawyers and "how to manage credit wisely" etc.

HardcoreRobot, you don't need to justify yourself in any kind if you consider your investments are wise.

No guys my note was not whine or rant but just reality here around holiday season. If you missed that one, I am sorry!

So you're not an alcoholic? 😉

If I actually have to step into a store to get the BF deals, it's not happening. First, I'll be working in a cold, heartless business, who only gives their employees the day of Thanksgiving off. Second, I hate trying to drive to the mall admidst the masses of minivans zipping around with only the thought of getting over to the next store, and not realizing that they cut off 6 people and left the scene of 2 accidents.

Mail order to the rescue! 😀

I have a store-phobia anyway, maybe that's why I feel the way I do about consumerism.
Edit: not to try and bring it back to that or anything.
