Creek, crick or stream?

If it's only a few feet wide I'll call it a stream.

If it's more than a few feet wide but not really a river, I'll call it a creek.

A crick is a pain in your back or neck, not a body of water. ;)

I can't believe people say "crick." It sounds so backwater hickish.
