I think they were just played to death on mainstream radio. Same thing with Nickelback and Hoobastank - they've all come to symbolize the sound of mass-produced, Clear Channel rock. I don't think they're the worst band ever, but I change the channel whenever they come on.

imho alter bridge is much better than creed. and miles kennedys voice stomps on scott stapps ( even though the highs and oooo's and aahhhh's get annoying sometimes)

I don't like Creed because they sound like everything else out there to me. I've only heard one Nickelback song, which again sounded like everything else. I've never heard Hoobastank.

To me it's not that Creed is untalented, I don't know if they are or not. I just know that I don't like their sound.
