Seeing the credit card thread reminded me that I need to get a credit report for myself.

Which one(s) should I do?

I know there are three agency's and you typically need to get all three. But what about the scores like FICO? Should I get that one as well?

Thanks.

equifax, you can get both the credit report and FICO from their handy dandy website. sign up for the introductory plan, but be sure to cancel before 30 days. You can get a free report.

I use equifax like I said in that other post... I get it with the FICO score because that seems to be what most people look at anyway.

As I said in the other thread, get all three. You can add on credit scores when you buy your report. Just look for the option on their sites when you click the links I put in the other thread.

Having a favorite agency to check is silly, because you cannot control which one your creditors look at.

Thanks. Just did the 3 in 1 with score power.

All clean credit record.
FICO score of 716, I assume thats good for someone who is 24.

Yep. My FICO score is 713 and I'm 21. Last time I checked it in August it was 723. Since then I've opened two credit card accounts. What's really funny is my mom who's had a credit history nearly ten times longer than I have had a 726 for FICO when mine was a 723. She really needs to close some of her unused accounts.

That's very good.
Mine is 753, and that's mostly because I have several joint accounts with my parents for our business.
Actually my credit score got *lowered* because I have too many accounts. :|
