Credit report?

I'd like to get a copy of my credit report, just to see how it stands after my first year of having a CC (plus a ton of college loans). However when I google it, I get tons of sites that want me to sign up for credit monitoring as well as the single free report.

Are there anyplace where I can get just the free credit report and no other strings attached?

but they also mention the continuous creditcheck thing...i'm worried that they're going to suck me into paying some stupid monthly fee. have you used them before?

If you have been turned down for credit in the last 60 days or believe something on your report may be fraudulent you are entitled to a free copy from Equifax. Some states allow for free copies anyway. If you must see it right now you can get it on their site for $9 and$12.95 to include your FICO score.

Try privacyguard (www.privacyguard.com) 3 months for a buck, use a webcert or something "throwaway" if you're concerned, and just remember to cancel before the 90 days after up. You can get a new copy of all three reports daily (scores are bogus, so ignore them).
