Is it true that the more credit report you run the lower your credit will be? My coworker is saying that and I'm calling him shens.
 
Hard credit reports (e.g., an auto dealer checking your worthiness for a loan) may lower your score, and I do not think that soft ones (you checking yourself) will.
 
As above, checking your own report should have no effect. Having your credit checked for loans (car, house, payday, etc..) will. Companies that automatically check and send out junk mail based on your credit ("pre-approved" offers) should not affect it.
